Count Casimir Pulaski & BSC

Count CasimirWe’re proud of Dr. AnnMarie Kajencki, professor of English at Bismarck State College!  Dr. Kajencki gave a presentation at a conference about Casimir Pulaski at Casimir Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom, Poland, October 6-7, 2015.  Her presentation focused on Pulaski’s critical role in the revolution’s Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777.

In 2005, Dr. Kajencki wrote a children’s book, Count Casimir Pulaski: From Poland to America, a Hero’s Fight for Liberty, which is being featured in another conference presentation about Pulaski in American children’s literature.

If you want to read Dr. Kajencki’s book, stop by the BSC Library.  We have a copy!
